Human Relations - June 11, 2018

The city will hold a forum Thursday, June 28, to hear from citizens with disabilities, their advocates, and service providers about the accessibility of city services, programs and activities. The forum will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the Neal Bolton Home and Garden Building on the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds, 421 E. 27th St., Winston-Salem.

Transportation will be provided for residents who are eligible for Trans-AID services and live within three-fourths of a mile of WSTA's fixed routes. To arrange for transportation call 336-727-2000 by June 15 and ask to speak with Jackie Settle or Tikiha Alston.

Interpreters will be available. All other requests for appropriate and necessary auxiliary aids and services or more information should be directed to Angela I. Carmon, the Winston-Salem city attorney, at 336-747-7404.
