Public Input Meetings
The Public Art Commission will be holding three meetings in April to solicit public input to guide its efforts over the coming 10 years. The meetings will begin with a short presentation, followed by roundtable discussions. Participants will be asked to identify locations that they think are appropriate for public art, and to discuss what kinds of art they would like to see in Winston-Salem and Forsyth County.

The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Public Art Commission is a ten-member board appointed by the Winston-Salem City Council and the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners. The Commission is a working organization that employs the skills, talents, and networks of its members to create public art throughout Winston-Salem and Forsyth County. Members have professional arts backgrounds, grant writing experience, and are community leaders.
To cultivate innovative, dynamic, and engaging public art that will illuminate the perspectives, relationships, and narratives of our community.
