Police - April 21, 2017

Basketball teams from the Winston-Salem Police Department, Carver High School and Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy will play a “pink-out” charity basketball game Saturday, April 22, to benefit the Northwest N.C. affiliate of the Susan G. Komen organization and its efforts to fight breast cancer.

The game will be played at the CP3 Basketball Academy gymnasium, 1902 Mooney Street, Winston-Salem. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. Admission is $5 and attendance is limited to 500.

Pregame activities include a survivor three-point shootout. Charity auction items include an   autographed Chris Paul jersey and an autographed Wake Forest University basketball. Police Chief Barry Rountree, N.C. Sen. Ed Hanes and the Rev. Sheldon McCarter of the Greater Cleveland Avenue Christian Church will serve as celebrity coaches.
