Business Inclusion and Advancement - May 8, 2017

"Bidding & Estimating 101," a free two-evening seminar to help contractors in the building trades improve their bidding and estimating process, will be held May 17 and 18 at the Enterprise Center, 1922 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Winston-Salem.

The seminar will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. both nights and will cover such topics as responding to solicitations, estimating projects, preparing and submit bids, insurance requirements, submitting bids for city projects, upcoming school-bond construction projects, best practices and more.

The seminar is being presented by the city of Winston-Salem, the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools and The Institute, an economic-development agency based in Durham.
